Managed Availability ActiveSync\ActiveSyncCTPProb: WARNING: Index was out of range.

I'm running into a Managed Availability issue. My server has the ActiveSync health set Unhealthy. After investigation I noticed the following error when the probe runs:

WARNING: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index

Command used: Invoke-MonitoringProbe ActiveSync\ActiveSyncCTPProbe -Server <servername>

I was not able to troubleshoot the issue any further from this point. This happens on all servers, Exchange 2013 CU7. I did not make configuration changes against the EAS virtual directory. Reboots, restarting services and waiting did not solve the issue. The information on https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms.exch.scom.activesync%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx did not help either, because I'm stuck with the error message.

Hi Andy, how are you? Yeah, I ignore them usually but they are becoming a bit of a problem now. It looks almost impossible to have the server 'all green' in SCOM with two or three of this nasty issues on every single s

Hello Winnie, thank you for your reply. Please don't propose Andy's post as answer because it isn't. I understand there's apparently some kind of benefit by marking as many topics answered as possible but this behavior negatively impacts the quality of the TechNet forums.

That being said, I see no issues with my health mailboxes.

Installing CU8 is not a not a trivial step, this is not something people do 'to try'. Unless this is a known issue which is fixed in CU8 but I did not see it in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3030080 Unfortunately we're not ready yet to install CU8 in the production environment.

I did notice https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3026674 which you mentioned too but I fail to see the similarity with my issue.

Upgraded some servers to CU8 last weekend, the issue has not been solved unfortunately.
